The Bishop Gallegos Maternity Home (BGMH) is a home for women over the age of 18 who are pregnant and in need of shelter, food, safety, comfort and support during their pregnancy and for a short time afterwards.
Established in 1992, BGMH is a non-profit, non-denominational home with a loving environment. BGMH has housed more than 1,000 women and babies since its inception. BGMH provides food, access to medical care, and a safe environment. BGMH also facilitates referrals to existing services.
The goal of BGMH is to empower women to become self-sufficient and independent in their return to the community with their babies, or to facilitate adoption as an option if they so choose. All races, creeds and nationalities are welcome. BGMH is staffed with a live-in director 24/7.
